These sweatpants are based on a vintage pair from the 1950s, updated with a relaxed silhouette.
Based on memorial items with hand-painted messages found on vintage pieces, WEIRDO's unique motifs are hand-painted one by one, just like the vintage originals.
Details
While following vintage sewing specifications, elastic has been added to the waist for improved comfort, and pockets not found on the original have been included, along with practical details such as belt loops and drawcords at the hem.

A relaxed silhouette with a slightly roomy fit.
Material
This fabric is knitted on a rare 1970s small-gauge tubular knitting machine, then bleached and washed at high temperatures using an old-fashioned Wins machine over a long period, and tumble-dried using large tumblers, resulting in a fabric with a pleasant texture created through time-consuming processes. The XL size uses a custom-made knitting machine to achieve a large size that was not available in vintage items.
