Unlike the long slub shapes often found in work denim, this fabric uses yarn that replicates short, sporadically scattered slubs, appearing almost as imperfections. To bring out the character of the warp threads, straight weft threads are used, and these weft threads are dyed to reproduce the color created by indigo bleeding. They are dyed in an exquisite ivory, a shade that is neither fully dyed nor undyed.
