Designed based on 1930s painter pants. It features a buckle back placed above the back yoke, hammer loops, and tool pockets, with design stitching on the back pockets as an accent.

Size
A work pant-like silhouette with ample room in the hips and thighs, gently tapered towards the hem.
Material
Denim faithfully crafted by researching vintage garments, focusing on yarn count, yarn color, slub shape, and number of threads per inch. 9.5 oz. We used yarn that recreates the short, intermittently flawed slub texture, unlike the long slub shapes often found in work denim. To bring out the character of the warp yarn, we used straight yarn for the weft, which reproduces the color of indigo dye transfer. The weft yarn is dyed in an exquisite ivory, a color that is almost but not quite dyed.
