A leather sports jacket commissioned to ATSU LEATHER WORKS for sewing.
The appeal of nubuck leather is that it develops a unique character and patina the more it's worn.
Based on a 1940s LEATHER SPORTS JACKET, the design and silhouette were carefully considered to create a classic silhouette that is tailored for a just fit while still providing freedom of movement with action pleats.
It features classic sports jacket details such as action pleats on the back, an attached belt, and decorative cuffs. The back yoke, side adjuster belt buckle, and the checked fabric used for the lining also serve as accents.
Leather:
We use nubuck leather made from vegetable-tanned steerhide from North America. While initially firm and stiff, the leather softens and becomes more supple with wear. It also ages beautifully, allowing you to enjoy a rich patina over time.
