Mouton is also used for the storm flap to enhance warmth. The hem can be adjusted with side adjuster belts. Horsehide is used for the leather accents.

U.S.A. Sheepskin (primarily from Texas, California, and Colorado). Its characteristics include larger hide sizes compared to Australian or New Zealand sheepskin, and a lower degree of Merino crossbreeding, resulting in a tight leather with no fatty layer.
