The cotton yarn is made from raw cotton with a soft feel. During the finishing process, it is washed for a long time at high temperatures in an old-fashioned winch machine, and a gas tumbler is used for the drying process. By thoroughly kneading the fabric during this time-consuming process, the fleece is finished with a soft, pleasant texture.

Inspired by the "13 Black Cats," a legendary group of 13 members led by Bon MacDougall, organized in 1924 and based at Los Angeles Airport. They wore matching patched apparel and were given 13-letter alphabetical nicknames on their backs, making their mark in races, aviation, and stunts.
