"XXX" originated as a remnant of the moonshine era, a mark indicating strong, triple-distilled liquor. It became a symbol of the Prohibition-era underworld, eventually inherited by outlaw culture, symbolizing the freedom and rebellious spirit of roughnecks.
This beret is made from selvedge duck fabric, woven slowly on a power loom in the Bingo region.
The slow weaving process gives it both an appropriate density and a puffy texture.
