This item is based on military liners, with some modifications.
By sewing it after quilting the lining, we eliminated bulkiness of the lining when worn and applied piping to ensure seam allowances do not cause stress. The pockets, which match the quilt pattern, and the woven label tucked into the side are also key features.
The overall fit is slightly slender with shorter sleeves, making it easy to wear as an inner layer. It can be used in a wide range of ways, such as a light outer layer or as an inner layer for heavy outerwear.
Thick raw hide is chrome-tanned for a plump finish, resulting in a uniquely soft and supple texture unlike typical cowhide.

The lining uses polyester taffeta subtly printed with roses from the theme design.
