These easy pants are made from sashiko fabric that has a beautiful contrast between the pre-dyed sashiko threads and the indigo-dyed ground. The fabric is then garment-processed to give it a unique texture and make it comfortable to wear.
Sashiko fabric was used for firefighter's uniforms in the Edo period. We've taken this traditional Japanese workwear material and reinterpreted it in the BY GLADHAND style.
