Based on the designs of that era, we have reinterpreted expressions that combine delicacy and power in a modern way.This graphic design conveys the aesthetic sensibilities and craftsmanship of the good old days.
The BY GLADHAND lineup incorporates themes from old Japan. Based on souvenir jackets from the 1950s, these pieces were created with yokoburi embroidery by artisans who inherited the techniques of that time.
The classical and refined silhouette, with a slightly shorter length, pairs well with high-waisted pants. It features a reversible design and a "WALDES" double zipper. The embroidery is yokoburi embroidery, using post-war techniques, with each piece carefully embroidered as if drawing a picture. Please note that since each embroidery is handmade, there may be slight differences in appearance.

This is a high-quality original material produced with rayon cupro silk "Etto."
It is a plain weave using filament rayon for the warp and cupro silk for the weft, achieving luster, supple drape, and comfortable wear. The pattern is expressed through discharge printing at a hand-printing factory, characterized by a clear and rich finish.
In discharge printing, the pattern is printed first, and then the ground color is dyed. At that time, chemicals are used on the printed pattern to prevent the ground color from adhering, so unlike normal overprinting, it is less affected by the ground color and produces a vibrant printed pattern. There are few factories capable of hand-printing + discharge printing, and production efficiency is low, making this a rare, high-quality, and special fabric.
