With the theme of a fictional "SUGAR COMPANY", we created workwear for workers in Hawaiian sugarcane fields. The pattern was adopted from 1940s G-jackets.It features large tucks and is designed to be worn loosely.Since the sizing is based on large vintage items, the fit embodies that atmosphere.
Original Palaka Check
The warp and weft threads use uneven organic cotton and linen blend yarn. Through indigo rope dyeing, the fabric develops a rich, faded color over time with use.Unlike traditional 100% cotton, the addition of linen achieves a natural texture and high quality. This is a fabric finish unique to BY GLADHAND.
Cotton Linen Plain Weave
This is a plain weave material using cotton linen (ramie linen) blend yarn for both warp and weft. By using thick counts, it features a firm fabric feel and soft fullness, and with a high blend ratio of linen, the fabric also offers the supple touch characteristic of linen.
