Based on HUNTING HATS from the 1940s-1950s, this is a 3-WAY HAT that can be worn with the brim down, with the back brim flipped up, or with the ear flaps lowered.
This is a tough fabric woven with the maximum possible thread count, making it durable and warm. Due to the extremely high thread count, single yarns would frequently break, so the warp threads are 24/3 for added strength, and the reverse side is brushed to soften the fabric.
