GOODFIELD "OLD OIL LEATHER"

"GOODFIELD" is a leather car coat and one of BY GLADHAND's signature items.

Car coats originated in the good old days of America to protect the wearer from wind, cold, and dirt while driving.
This car coat is made from old oil leather created using the traditional "oka-zome" (mound dyeing) method, resulting in a garment that expresses the brand's commitment to allowing wearers to experience the inherent charm of leather and its unique aging process.

This old oil leather jacket, made by hand by skilled craftsmen using leather created through the traditional "oka-zome" (mound dyeing) method by VASCO (ANCHOR MILLS), a brand that creates bags and leather goods, has a classic atmosphere. Its rugged, simple design makes it a timeless companion that you won't tire of for years to come.
*The lining uses wool nep for warmth. (Sleeve lining is 100% cotton.)

[Oka-zome]
This leather is Himeji-produced full-vegetable tanned leather dyed using the traditional "oka-zome" (mound dyeing) method, and then oil-treated to easily develop a rich patina over time.
Now a rare technique, "oka-zome" originated in Santa Croce, Italy, in the 19th century.
It is still beloved today for its depth and character reminiscent of vintage items, and the ability to enjoy varying shades and a rich aging process.

Furthermore, in December, a "Vintage Finish Model" will be released exclusively at "GLADHAND CORE," featuring meticulous, individual processing to make it appear as if a craftsman has worn it for many years.
For more details, please contact the head shop or official website.

*Due to the use of natural leather and handmade finishing, there may be individual differences in grain and color (differences in shade due to oil penetration).
*Please note that color transfer may occur due to friction, sweat, or moisture.
